Buying a house

I am starting the process of buying a house. It is so much to do and I have almost no idea what I'm doing, I'm lucky I have some friends at work that are helping me. I am looking for some foreclosures that are under $100,000.00 which aren't very many in the areas I want to live. I hope I can find something soon.

Our New Family Member

This is Dusty our newest family member. We've had him for awhile but I'm just getting around to taking pictures and such. I'm glad I finally learned how to post pictures on here. About 8 or 9 months ago I kept hearing this noise and meowing in the garage. I finally figured out it is coming from behind a bookshelf in the back of the garage. I managed to squeeze my head behind the shelf and I saw it was a cat. I coaxed him out and it turned out to be the sweetest and loudest cat ever. I have never heard a cat meow so much. He is so attention starved that he meows all the time unless you are petting him. I named him Dusty because he was always rolling around in the dirt. Since this was an unusually cold winter we decided to let Dusty come inside, Bella hates that. I don't know if Bella will ever get used to him.

Celebrating a Wonderful Lady

February 17 was Mrs. Bee's Birthday.
Mrs. Bee was the director of the Hinds Hi-Steppers for over 55 years. She is the most amazing lady. She has always been about teaching her girls to be kind, courteous, graceful young ladies. Her years of community service and performing for fund raisers are more than I could ever hope to accomplish in my lifetime. I wish I could have leaned more from her when I was a Hi-Stepper, but I was selfishly more preoccupied by other now unimportant things in life. Now that I am older I know the importance of her lessons and wish I could used them more in my life now. My years as a Hi-Stepper were not all wasted; it helped me grow out of my shyness and helped me to make some of the best friends that will last a lifetime. I think it was said best by the current director that Mrs. Bee is a Living Legend.
